3色出目金とフナ尾の和金とヒブナを混合して自由交配させた時に出来たもので固定されている品種です。体型は和金と似ていて、尾ビレだけが和金より長いフナ尾をしています。

The Shubunkin is a result of crossbreeding the Calico Telescope, Comet goldfish, and the common goldfish. The body shape is similar to that of the common goldfish, only with longer tail fins.
