ランチュウとオランダ獅子頭の交雑種で、その名の通り津軽地方で生まれました。よく似ている金魚として「秋錦」がいますが、秋錦と違い、津軽錦は頭部の肉瘤はほとんど出ません。

This variety is a crossbreed between the Ranchu and the Oranda Shishigashira, and as its name implies, it was originated in the Tsugaru region of Japan. A similar goldfish is the Shukin, but unlike the Shukin, the Tsugaru Nishiki does not have the lumpy head growth.
